One of the things Jarrod Sammut is thankful for in life is that his girlfriend is not Lara Bingle, buy ViagRX from canada. Buy ViagRX without a prescription, Otherwise he'd have a tattoo stating "I love Lara's Pringles" or the like. Order ViagRX online no prescription, So his ankle injury has not stopped me having a joke at his expense but the Panthers are no joke this year. An easy prediction to make in round 1 but their side looks quite strong for this season.
Canberra have not got a bad side either but they are away from home and the weather is still quite mild. The Raiders don't like that sort of a climate. They won't start winning till the weather in Canberra renders brass monkeys incomplete.
The forward clash will be a good one and likely to decide the game, order ViagRX online no prescription. I'm tipping the mountain men.
Cronulla v Melbourne, Saturday 7:30pm, Toyota Stadium
With Melboune probably a little tired after their trip to England and missing a few players, Cronulla will be sensing an upset. And Ricky has never lost a first round game. But neither has Bellamy so for one, the personal record will fall.. Order ViagRX online no prescription, But even a weakened Storm should be too much for the Sharks. The Sharks will have trouble scoring points and the Storm just too many players that can crack the most resolute defence.
The Sharks will try hard as they do but they just don't have the team to win against the Storm.
Gold Coast v New Zealand, Sunday 1:00pm, Skilled Park
Lara Bingle once said "Where the bloody hell are you?" And on Sunday the Warriors are likely to be saying "Where the bloody hell are we?" as they cook in their black jumpers under the Gold Coast sun and lost their way. Declaring that they want to wear their white strip, the Titans gamesmanship will have the New Zealand boys melting.
Which is a shame as the Titans don't need to resort to such tactics to beat the Warriors, order ViagRX online no prescription. They have the far stronger side. Even though the Warriors welcome back Brent Tate, they are without Price and Mannering.
The Titans will hardly break a sweat in this game.
Souths V Easts, Sunday 3:00pm, ANZ Stadium
Could this be a new era for South Sydney. Order ViagRX online no prescription, A few good purchases and Souths have a monster forward pack. But will they take advantage of it. Sandow and Sutton will need to explode out of the blocks this season and stay running. They should have "consistency" tattooed somewhere (ask Sammut who not to go to) to remind them of their task this year.
The Roosters' word for the season is redemption. And they have the team capable of a few good wins, order ViagRX online no prescription. Carney was impressive in the trials so to see him in the season proper will be very interesting.
But the Roosters look lighter in the forwards compared to Souths and will miss Fitzgibbon's work rate. It will be up to Souths to take advantage of the roll on their forwards will give them.
Wests v Manly, Monday 7:00pm, SFS
Did you know Lara Bingle was Tigers cheer girl. Order ViagRX online no prescription, No, neither did I till I made that fact up as to complete the sponsorship obligations.
All eyes will be on the return on Lote Tuqiri. And while Hasler was joking, there will be a sigh of relief from Tigers fans it Lote does not kick out on the full in his own 20 or try to form a lineout during his first few touches.
Manly's problem will be their kicking game. If Lyon or Foran can't get the ball in the right spaces, Manly will suffer. The Tigers have energetic, mobile forwards that will take advantage of field position, order ViagRX online no prescription.
I heard a whisper that Marshall's ankle is still bothering him. If it does restrict him, the Tigers will lose their edge. But even on one leg, he could still be the difference between the two teams.
The Sure Thing: And the Titans get the mocker first this season.
The Roughy: The Sharks.

With you on all of these Shaun.
Depending on how Hoppalong O’Measles is holding up on Sunday, I might make the trip from Concord Hospital to ANZ for a bit of light relief on Sunday arvo.
Welcome back for a bumper 2010, an all new fitter and stronger Bismark and Shaun (don’t miss them running round the Domain on Friday lunch-times!) and a new ‘completely-sober-at-full-time’ aspect to your inner-western contributor!

Parra – They got taken care of by the Dragons in the trials, although possibly on Daniel A’s advice. “Let them win. False confidence is a handy thing to give to an opponent. Let them think it’s round 26, 2009.” He would be a genius if he had spoken these exact words. On both occasions, what may be proven, is that the first meetings counted for little.
North Queensland – Matty Bowen back to his electrifying best. Big Willie to stand up in this one (as opposed to stand erect)
Newcastle – Lots of talk about a couple of completely replacable players. Their loss in this regard shouldn’t be overstated. Anyone remember the Knights making the semis last year? You would be excused of late for thinking they got the spoon. Gidley is out but Newcastle showed up last year as the team with the most depth (the team that consistently won when players were out)
Cronulla – Not too much to do with the Sharks here. Mostly to do with playing against a team just back from European vacation. Also 2010 turning over a new leaf and a few no-name workman-like buys may do the trick.
Penrith – Seem to struggle against the greens, but Plum and Purtell ready to give it to their old team on Penrith turf now. Much easier for Purtell to Purr now, as a Panther.
Gold Coast – Very poor signings for the Warriors – the best of them the proverbial NRL football himself, Brett Seymour. Passed from one team to the next. I think the Gold Coast night-life could be too much for him this time. One of those ones who will never learn.
Eastern Suburbs – No one likes the spoon. Kind of a scientific fact. Win it and you have 10x the reason to do better the next year than the team that finished 2nd last. Also no Shrek can only be a positive.
Manly – I think the Tigers may fall into their own trap here, of building up the winger they signed, then having to show the world he was worth the money. He will then get overused in attack, to the detriment of their team. Manly with the older and uglier heads.

..Sure he can’t play football but give Sammut a break here – I thought it was the lastest thing to not be able to spell ? Has anyone recently visited their local McDonald’s ,KFC, or bottle shop’s ‘Drive Thru’ ?

The Dragons v Eels was a great game for round one. The Dragons more than deserved their win as they controlled the game well. 94% completion rate and 59% percent possession. The team with the most ball will win. Soward’s kicking game was excellent as well.
But the Eels defence was excellent holding the Dragons out for the last 60 minutes of the game. Poor fifth tackle options and kicking cost them field position and limited their chances. But they look dangerous on the rare occasions when they got the ball into the Dragons half.
The Eels will improve. It was a good hit out that showed some weak points that they will need to improve and they will.
As for the Broncos v Cowboys game, it was exciting but I have no idea what it said about the 2010 fortunes for both teams.

So I was wrong about the Knights. Mungo has already reminded me my wrongness.
All credit to the Knights. They were absolutely committed from the start. And that got them home. When the ball was loose on the ground, the Knights were the first ones to it. A famous win to the club.
The Bulldogs seemed disinterested for most of the game. Then it dawned on them that they better do something but too late. They really missed Hazem’s goal kicking. That could be a big issue during close games this season.

What an interesting opening round.
The Panthers looked great last night. Well for the first 40 minutes and the final 10 at least. The 30 minutes after half time saw them fall back in some bad habits. If they can stretch that first 40 to 80 minutes then they will be in the mix.
Hard to say what the Raiders will do. Josh Dugan had looked a handful at times. But the Raiders game plan of hope that Campese does something it going to limit them in the end.
Didn’t see the Sharks v Storm. From the sounds of it the Sharks tried hard as usual but just didn’t have the class to get over the top of the Storm.
Saw only snippets of the Titans v Warrios but the Titans looked ordinary indeed. But Titans have class players that go them back into the game. The Warriors seemed to have a game plan of kick the ball to the wingers. Teams will soon counter than and the Warriors will struggle if they can’t find any other attacking options.
Carney and Pearce as the NSW Origin halves? A long way out from selection time but if both keep the form up then why not? Carney was brilliant against the Bunnies. And Pearce looked much better than last season.
As for the Bunnies, having a big forward pack is fine. But they must still do the hard work to get field position. Merritt’s bungled try really summed up South’s game.
Bismark O'Measles // Mar 14, 2010 at 9:17 pm
I was in the Couldren at ANZ with a thousand other Souths tragics.
At the point where Merritt N dropped the ball, I felt all the love disappear (Dementor-like) from the atmosphere. You could actually hear the wheels drop off and slowly roll away down the hill.
The Roosters played well.

The game of the round and hence the game of the year.
A great win by the Tigers who were often their own worst enemy at times. Manly should of had that game but Marshall and Farah got them back into it coming back from 20 to 4 down.
And Lote with a try on his first touch back in the NRL.
Manly could pay a heavy price for the loss. Stewart went off with a leg injury and I think 3 Manly players on report.
