The Gold Coast Titans draw for 2010.

In 2010 the Titans will…

…do much the same as last year. Skilled Park will a graveyard for most teams but on the road the Titans will struggle. The key is Scott Prince. As long as he says fit then the Titans speedy backline will get plenty of ball. If he does have an injury or is called away on Origin duty nobody is really up to the task of replacing him.

One aspect of the Titans game last year was the inability to put teams away. That may be due to a modest forward pack that features plenty of honest workers but lack penetration compared to other packs. That is what cost the Titans in the finals. And it could cost them again this year. Greg Bird will add a bit but it won’t be enough.

The Titans will make the finals again in 2010 on the back of a good record at Skilled Park. But they still won’t have the overall game to trouble the bigger sides in the NRL.
