It is going to be a great clash with Stewart v Slater and two hard forwards packs crashing into each other, purchase Atripla online no prescription. I can’t really split the sides but leaning slightly to Melbourne

Congrats to the Titans on their first finals campaign, order Atripla online no prescription. Fast shipping Atripla, But it may be a real short one if they don’t get their act together. But with Rogers fit to play (at time of writing) and Preston resigning for another two years, where to buy Atripla, Atripla from canadian pharmacy, there will be a positive mood in the camp.

Titans’ fans will be hoping that last week was that with third spot sown up, Atripla samples, Buy no prescription Atripla online, the mental pressure valve was released. With Kimmorely out, buy Atripla from canada, Buy no prescription Atripla online, the pressure on Roberts and Holdsworth to make the plays may tell on them. Mad Dog is playing with the energy of an excited puppy at the moment and Idris will need to be careful that his defensive lapses are not exposed.

The Bulldogs forward pack can match the Knights and with De Gois out, the Knights aren't as good on paper up front. But I’m not convinced they have the ability to take full advantage of the Dogs forwards get on top of the Knights. The Knights are really in with a real chance in this game and can spring an upset, order Atripla online no prescription.

St George-Illawarra Dragons v Parramatta, Sunday 4:00pm WIN Jubilee Stadium

There has been some speculation that Parra foxed it a little last week. With the pressure making the finals now off them, they relaxed a little. Probably a little too much as the final score indicated.

The Dragons tactics against the Eels were obvious last week. Order Atripla online no prescription, Anderson will have a counter for those and Bennett will likely have a counter for Anderson’s counter. Meaning Anderson will have a counter for the counter of the counter and then Benett will have…you get the idea. A great battle of the coaches this will be.

The Dragons have the momentum and home ground advantage but a few things favour the Eels. First is the bounce back factor. During the season, teams that have been hammered tend to respond in the best possible way the following week, order Atripla online no prescription. Second is that it will be a late afternoon game on a warm day. Those conditions will suit the Eels. The third and most importantly, Hindmarsh will be playing. As much as Hayne is hogging the headlines, the influence of Hindmarsh on the Eels cannot be underestimated. He holds the team together.

The Dragons are deserved favourites but Eels have nothing to lose. They will demand redemption and the Dragons will be the ones suffering for it.

Melbourne. Can you name a more unpopular team in Melbourne this week than last year’s premiers? You can?? The Adelaide Crows? Well, apart from them – no you can’t. That dreaded cow-bell ringer to toll Manly’s Deathknell.

Gold Coast. The NRL would love nothing more than to see the G.C. in a G.F. Lots of pats on the backs all round for Gallop and co for letting that rabble (aka) Giants/Seagulls/Chargers back in the comp. The other great story would be that Preston played for those Chargers back in ’98.

Newcastle. Depth. Class. Strength. Speed. Skill. and Joey carrying the oranges. Bulldogs will be shaking their heads at where they were sitting just over a week ago.

Parramatta. The biggest factor here is the Dragons playing in yet another semi-final. Yes, we all know its been 30 long years since their last Grand Final drinks, but more pertinent, this will be their 17th finals series since 1979 for no result! How ironic Dean Young was heard talking about scars on Parramatta from their last game, when his team has been so hideously scarred over the years, they should call them Elephant-Team. The poor bloke was also conceived and born in 1983, a Parra year. How cruel.

Tomorrow night I shall be on the town with Bismark and me mate Bugle who hails from Newy way and a loyal member of the Order of Knights of the Steel City.

I am most certain that we will repair to a public house in the Balmain district to view the Knights v Bulldogs affair.

You should repair to ANZ Stadium.

I will be in Bathurst ;-(

I’m going to have a guess at Prelims, G/F, and Premier.

    Prelim’s – Melbourne v Bulldogs
    – Gold Coast v St George

(Top 4 teams to play off – although its teams 3 and 4 to get the week off after this weekend)

Grand Final – Bulldogs v Gold Coast

    Premier – Gold Coast

Note the above has probably the same chance of happening as my Melbourne Cup tip has of winning in a couple of months time (fairly slim).

Mungo, this night out has been set up for a while and there are a few of us meeting for a few beers. If had notice, then yes maybe ANZ would be good (though Fabs would be bored – Bismark knows what I mean).

But we’ll be content with beer on tap and a suitably sized plasma screen. Hope you get to watch the game in Bathurst. I’ve put $5 on the Knights at 13+.

Of course! my sister said her partner ‘s “head will explode in joy” at having someone to watch the footy with who would not mock it (South fan). Finals all live on Nine so won’t even have to leave the house.

So.. it’s come to this Manly. 26 weeks of inconsistency, a fluked try in the last minute against the Sharks which not only lost me $55 but denied the glorious Tigers a place in the 8 and…. 80 embarrasing minutes at Etihad and, with any luck (come-on two out of the bottom 3!!!!!) an early bus home.

I will DEFINITELY be rooting for both the Knights and Eels folks – you never know, I may change the habit of a lifetime and barrack for the Broncos – such is my contempt for Manly (spit).

You’ll get heaps more of this tomorrow night Shaun.. get used to it!

It’s now my ambition to get Fabcat out to a footy match.

BTW (in case you missed it) because none of my favourite teams (with the possible exception of the Eels in defference to Shaun) are in the top 8… my finals series now centres around who is going to get Manly out first.

    Go everyone!

I didn’t expect such a flogging. The early stages Manly seemed enthusiastic but Gus was right. Where was Orford that first half?

It is always nice to see Manly flogged even if it was the Storm.

As for getting Fabcat to a footy match, I know of a way but it really ain’t pretty.

At the time of starting this one – Apologies Shaun for getting in first on the Parra game review. It’s your stage I know. I guess you are still on your next round of drinks – which is totally understandable. but Great stuff Parra!!!! God – I never have followed them – mostly the opposite – but I can literally feel my hair bristling. That usually only happens in Grand Finals. So long as they keep flying under the radar – they are showing they have what it takes to go all the way to October. Well done Parra for reading that blueprint on the Dragons. Beat them with strong defence. Outmuscle them. Keep them on the back foot when they have the ball. They have shown against Canberra, Brisbane, Souths, and now Parra – that their tactics are not as effective when a team decides to take them on in this way. It doesn’t read very well for the Dragons next week at Suncorp now does it? especially after the Broncos know what to do. On the other hand, a Sydney game for Parra against the Gold Coast. The 8th team gets a home game for week 2 !! Cards are falling their way. They are alive – and where there’s life – there’s hope.

Agree with MB : The Eels are real contenders and having them there, playing the way they did today, nearly makes up for not having the Tigers there!!

    MANLY ARE GONE!!!!!!!!

Missed heaps of the game because of the bowling this arvo and Buster had my phone so I couldn’t commune via the usual textural methods but I was with them all the way.

    You must be stoked.

    Shaun // Sep 13, 2009 at 10:16 pm

    Ah, what a day.

I wasn’t going to drink after last night’s efforts but am allowing myself a glass of wine to celebrate.

In the first 20 minutes, the possession ran 65%-35% to the Dragons. But they couldn’t crack the Eels line. Actually the Dragons attack seemed a little unimaginative. It was either kick the ball to Grothe’s wing or do a sweeping backline movement and get the ball to Morris (which Parra covered well apart from one try). But Parra wanted the win. It should in how they continually stood up even when the 50-50 calls were going against them.

The Eels forwards were outstaing. Moi Moi was damaging and Ben Smith is turning into a hard hitting back rower. His first half defence was Hindmarsh like. Hindy was Hindy which is all anyone needs to say. The Eels aren’t just the Jarrod Hayne show (and his try was something that had to be seen to be believed). Everyone put in.

Special mention of young Morts. His enthusiasm got us the first try, his skills the second. He is developing into a very good footballer.

The four day turn around won’t worry Parra. They have the momentum. The interesting stat is that the Eels have never beaten the Titans. And what better time to register that win that Friday night.

Oh, and Manly are gorn! Like I said, what a day.

Wowsers! Never happier to be completely wrong, Shaun. And I’m completely wrong at least three times a round during the season so you know that means something. I was on the train and out of net range for all the second half, but happy to hear the result on disembarkment.

Totally behind Parra for the rest of the finals.

(quick word on the Knights. Funny game, we were never out of it but never really in it either. Ever when we were four pts behind and a converted try would have put ahead … I never felt like it was a nail biter. Disappointing, but fair considering the inconsistent season we had. Come on 2010!!!!)

Eels fans regard this try from 1983 as one of the best ever. Discussed in hushed and hallowed tone by the faithful.

Hayne’s try is now of legend and will also be talked about for years to come.

Welcome to the wild ride that will be the Eels in 2009, Amanda.

Your right about the Knights last night. The lack of possession in the first half really told on them. Judging by the patrons at the Town Hall in Balmain, more Knights supporters than Bulldogs. Then again, maybe that was just may mate Bugle being loud as he very well can be.

And a special mention to the band who were very considerate in not setting up till after the game was over. The stage is right under the big screen.
