Update: We’ll be at the Henson Park Hotel from 2:00pm before going to the ground (around 2:40 I reckon).
If anyone wants to see some footy on Saturday, come down and see Newton Jets play North Sydney at Henson Park on Saturday 6th of June at 3:00pm. Bismark and myself will be there with our entourage, pontificating on the finer points of the game over a KB or two.
The reason for choosing a Jets game is simply that many a quality folk have recommended an arvo watching footy at Henson Park so why not? And with North Sydney playing you can pretend its the early 80s all over again.
The forecast is for a fine, mild day so if you go nothing else on, hope to see you there.

Afterward, we’re all off to Canterbury Ice Rink to watch Buster O’Measles take out the Primary Mens and Pre Primary Dance titles.
