Nathan Merritt was, in one player, Souths best hope and Souths worst enemy. There were one or two moments there when you had an incling they might just score - invariably NM had the ball at these times but the penalty that failed to find touch and then the tackle that failed to stop Brett Stewart probably ranks amongst the worst "hang-head-say-'oh..f&^%ck'" ever to this seasoned Bunny-watcher. Put it this way.. I have some freebies to see the Sharks at ANZ with No.3 son next week and I'm in two minds whether to go or not. Can it be .. surely not .. that seasoned campaigner JT has built his team around one player - that being the round one R.Brown (gag) prowler victim?? They need to do some SERIOUS work if they're going to salvage any games out of this season - good teams are emerging left right and centre and this season, so full of hope, will drill real nails into the Crowe/a Court dream. At this rate they'll be lucky to swizz 4 games out of the season. On a ligfhter note... I've just tipped 6 out of 7 (would have been 7 had I not listened to our esteemed host). Go Tigers.
