Four sleeps to go

March 10th, 2008 by Shaun · 3 Comments

Exciting isn’t it? I can’t wait till Friday night and settling down in front of the Bunnies and Roosters to kick of the NRL’s centenary year. I’d like to do an in depth look at all of the teams chances but I’m unlikely to have the time this week.

However, today’s SMH had a good round of all the teams and their chances. Roy Masters, Greg Prichard, Andrew Webster, Brad Walter, Jacquelin Magnay and Glenn Jackson reveal their picks for the eight.

I’ll reveal my top eight on Thursday with the return of my NRL tips and previews for each round.

and…. how about more live blogs this year???!!

I recon you could have a go at the Bunbuns/Chooks and Eels/Puppies matches……

    Shaun, I can’t wait.

Money is tight so I can’t make too many games this year but the passion is building, the tipping comp is bustling and weekend FTA TV has been reserved in the O’Measles household.

    Wow !

We’ll get to a few games. But looking at the draw, there doesn’t seem to be a Bunnies v Tigers at Leichardt this year! This is a travesty!

Eels play the Bunbuns at ANZ in July on a Saturday. I’d be happy to come down for that game.

As for live blogs, depends on the Little One. She tends to like trying to type when I have the laptop nearby. Not that anyone could tell the difference.
