Look, to be honest while I love to play cricket and watch it, I’m not that keen on blogging it (except for a post maybe recounting how my club team fares this year). In three days the last test match will be over and then a meaningless round of one day games will begin. And then is the month long wait starting starting mid-Feb before the footy returns. Yes, folks the NRL season 2008 is not that far away.
The pre-season action begins this weekend in, of all places, Jacksonville, Florida with the South Sydney Rabbitohs playing Leeds Rhinos. Then in February it really heats up with quite a few games. A nice taste before the season proper starts on March 14th.
Less than two months folks. Funny thing is if I can guide my cricket team to the points this weekend then we probably need to win only one more game (3 left) to be assured of a finals spot. And that could mean us playing cricket through to the end of March.
