If there is anyone out there who like rugby union and likes to blog, Sidelined could use you. I’ve just realised the rugby union World Cup is just a few weeks away and it would be nice to have some analysis of the rounds plus tips.
If you are keen, drop a comment below and we’ll be in touch.

I vote every day we just put the scores and then a big picture of Marshall Petain, since rugby union in France has Vichy and Nazi collaboration to thank for even existing. How about a regular “stirring moments from the Resistance” feature? I will be happy to contribute my views.
First up I nominate this clip.

Jeez, you don’t forget do you?
Are you ever going to forgive Brian Smith?

I will “forget” when some attempt at acknowledgement and reparations are made. The frenchie rah rah establishment blocks every attempt at doing so. They are gutless nazi loving thieves, and all the Australian rah rahs blithely going along with it are complicit in war crimes.
Feel free to excerpt that last sentence for a post of its own. We might get Sidelined mentioned in parliament, or at least the Fitz Files, think of the hits!
Smithy didn’t batter up Bedsy’s knee (AFAIK) so he has nothing to be forgiven for.

However I can get ionto the spirit oif the thing.
I happen to have a first edition hard back copy of Greg Growden’s “With the Wallabies” :
With the Wallabies takes an irreverent and witty look at the period between the 1984 Grand Slam and the lead-up to the third World Cup in South Africa, giving the reader a rare insight into what actually happens on Wallaby tours. How did Australia become the premier Rugby nation? Growden provides background, colour and anecdotes on the protagonists, analyses the major controversies, and explores the inner workings of the Wallaby machine. Humour, even self-ridicule, is never too far away. From Bordeaux to Brisbane, Twickenham to Timaru, here is the story behind the stories.
I will offerit as a prize if you want to come up with a competition.
