Apologies for the delay but it will be a slightly abbreviated post for Round 22. So let’s get going.
Sea Eagles v Knights, Friday 7:30pm Blue Tongue Stadium
The Knights reckon they are going to play for each other amidst conflict between the coach and players. It will be a bit upset if they do. However, with the injuries they have Manly will be far too strong.
Tigers v Roosters, Friday 7:30pm Telstra Stadium
The Tigers let me down last week but I will give them one more chance. The Roosters are a chance but if the Tigers are fair dinkum about the finals they need to win this game.
Warriors v Titans, Saturday 5:30pm Mt Smart Stadium
The Warriors should get this one. They are in great form and at home. The Titans could push them with Prince in form.
Dragons v Rabbitohs, Saturday 7:30pm WIN Stadium
Both teams need to win to keep their finals hopes alive. The Dragons have been looking good. However I’m giving the Bunnies one last chance. If they lose it is over between us for the season.
Eels v Sharks, Saturday 7:30pm Parramatta Stadium
Parra should win this one. Words that strike fear into the hearts of Eels fans everywhere. The Sharks have nothing to lose which makes them dangerous but without Dykes not much strike power. Go the Blue and Gold.
Storm v Broncos, Sunday 2:00pm Olympic Park
I’ve underestimated the Broncos before but their injury toll is killing their chances. The Storm at home are just to hard to pass up.
Bulldogs v Raiders, Sunday 3:00pm Telstra Stadium
The Bulldogs have been a little shakey. The Raiders, well who knows. I’ll tip the Dogs but I don’t mind Canberra if you want an outside punt.
Panthers v Cowboys, Monday 7:00pm CUA Stadium
The Cowboys need to keeping winning to make the finals. The percentage could easily seen them out if drop games on the run home. The Panthers are fighting for the spoon which may give them some incentive as well. I have no idea really and will tip the Cowboys as they are the better team if they get it right on the night.

I got nipped on both and it’s only Saturday!
Also, a valuable lesson in the O’Measles camp : Don’t give up on Souths. There’s another one gone down the tubes & my season’s gone from bad to f%^&*ng awfull!
On top of all this, the Tigers put their round 24 tickets on sale a week early so when I rocked-up to buy the seats for our annual pilgrimage, they only had hill tickets left which were half gone.
A little miffed is an understatement… I had pohoned two weeks previous and was advised to buy them two weeks from the match which is two weeks away tomorrow – apparently there was a press release. Bah!
It’s a shame, I recon it’s going to be a battle for a berth in the 8 and, if previous Sundays are anything to go by, will attract over 20,000 to Mary Street Leichhardt.
Anyhow, Stig O’Bunion (my brother in law) and I are going to Tigers to watch it on the big screen if you’re interested Shaun…..

Stupid friggin’ Eels. I knew I should have worn my 2007 dark blue jersey instead of my 2005 gold one.
At least I got the Bunnies. But…stupid friggin’ Eels.
