I arrived in Australia in the erly 90's and only got interested in League after the Super League War so I missed the glory days for players like them. The body language was priceless - puffing themselves up and bouncing slightly to look 'fitter' and avoid eye contact. Falcon misread on or two of Bennies comments (as he does) and, for a split second, I though he was going to thump him. Like watching a couple of old bull-seals dancing around each other on the ice. Chief and Spuddie Carroll were much better, as old foes, but it gave me an insight into the passion and loyalty in the sport that I don't see today. Other than that... Can't disagree with you too much on your summary of the weeks clumpage apart from (here we go again) the Bunnies have just GOT to win one of these nail-biters eventually so I might go them (tea-leaves) and the Dragons should beat the Panthers. Other notable events this weekend : Harry Potter is released, Fergus has two eistedffords, Ellies on a speed-skating camp abnd I have to work again. Pat came third in Elementary Mens Ice Skating - State Championships in Penrith on Wednesday night. That's me done! Looking forward to round 24.......
