It is finally here! The NRL season starts tonight with two games now part of the Friday night coverage as well as a return to Monday night games. Never mind Super Saturday and the Sunday. 4 days of rugby league goodness. Onto the card for Round 1

Well, the Tahs are almost done and dusted for the season after going down 32-19 against the Bulls last night. At the least the Waratahs tried some expansive rugby for which they deserve some credit. The latest scandal the engulf the NRL is Titans and ex-West Tigers forward Anthony Laffranchi being charged with sexual assault after an incident that happened during ‘Mad Monday’ celebrations in the early hours of September 4th last year.
